Love!!!

I bought this book at Books A Million but wanted to help those that may consider this book. It is not bad. I truly enjoyed looking through it and taking note of how to better increase my Manga illustration. The real problem that I have with the book, is that it -- as it proceeds past the basics -- to accelerate in how to procure characters.Such as poses with characters, clothing types that could be used, even hair! Sadly, it really didn't give a lot of options or understanding of Manga hair. It was maybe two pages tops before moving on to the next subject. Overall, a pretty decent book to add to your collection, but I would make sure to buy another beginner manga book, with this complimenting it.

About the Author
John G. Cramer is  known to many as author of the award-nominated hard-SF novels Twistor and Einstein's Bridge, and contributor of nearly 200 popular-science articles published in Analog Science Fiction and Fact Magazine.  He is Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he has five decades of experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate physics.  From 1983 - 1990 he served as Director of the UW Nuclear Physics Laboratory. John has done cutting-edge research in experimental and theoretical nuclear physics and ultra-relativistic heavy ion physics, fields in which he has published extensively. He has also worked on the foundations of quantum mechanics and is the originator of its Transactional Interpretation.  John and his wife Pauline live in the View Ridge neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.

The book is laced with anecdotes and folk tales that the authors attempt to link with their lessons on mindfulness. The one chapter that deals explicitly with children and mindfulness is filled with strong reasoning and age-appropriate exercises. Unfortunately, it takes 10 chapters to get there. (Sept.)

About the Author
Nikolaj Flor Rotne holds a MA in Educational Psychology. His wife and coauthor Didde Flor Rotne is a primary classroom teacher and meditation teacher in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. Together they are the cofounders of the educational consultancy Stillness Revolution. Authors of three books in Danish, the Flor Rotnes are also founders of Denmark's Educational Superstars Program.
